Native yeast wild fermentation
5 months in neutral oak barrels
40 ppm SO2 was added at bottling.
Serve at 50 degrees
Vista Grande Vineyards is a small family owned Organic vineyard in Chehalem Mountains AVA made up of Laurelwood soils. The 15-25 year old vines are mostly planted to pinot noir, but with an acre planted to pinot gris, all of which goes into this wine.
These grapes were picked off the steepest part of a steep sloped vineyard, which gets great drainage and good coastal winds every evening ensuring the grapes stay dry during even very wet years. Pinot clones consist of 113, 114, 115, and 777
