Bianka and Daniel Schmitt work with some of the finest winegrowing sites in the Rheinhessen. Blaufrankisch and Furmint from Bianka’s homeland of Hungary are grown alongside local noble varieties of Riesling and Spatburgunder. All four varieties have extraordinary potential to showcase the finer aspects of this terroir and its ability to produce grand wines.
Certified organic since 2007 and Demeter Biodynamic since 2012, they have learned over the years that nature gives her best when trusted to find a natural balance, in both the vineyard and the cellar. Over a decade of consistent biodynamic cultivation has led them to trust fully in the vitality and expression of the vineyards. This individual character is nurtured by time, precision, and handcraftsmanship.
