Fresh Faces!
You know them. You love them. Now, they’re all together under one roof as the Merchants of Thirst family welcomes new members.
Here is a roundup of new producers you’ll find in our portfolio this Summer:
Tessier Winery
Berkeley, California
Kristie Tacey founded Tessier Winery in 2009 to focus on small, hand-crafted lots of natural wines. In the cellar, she practices native fermentations and minimal intervention to allow each vineyard to speak for itself. She has selectively chosen organically farmed, family owned and operated vineyards that are in local regions that she feels best express the varietals she loves and is inspired by.
Marioni Wine
Sonoma, California
Dan Marioni has deep Sonoma roots tracing back many generations. With Marioni Wine, the hope is to honor this rich past and this mystical mountain valley, bringing vineyard sites back to nature and making good, honest, natural wine with no smoke and mirrors; just grapes. Marioni has endless respect for the land, the seasons, the soil, the cycles, the fungi, the flora and fauna, the vines, the grapes and the cosmos. In the cellar, he captures the wild spirit of these elements to make gripping, ripping, alive, juicy, bright and pure Sonoma wine.
Can-Ví
Catalonia, Spain
“We have created this path because we are passionate about the world of wine. We start from wines made with respect and health. The elaboration could not be any other way than obtaining natural wine. Our experience has led us to share a packaging, until now, unusual.
We think canned wine can be fun and practical ...and, undoubtedly, it preserves the fruit of the wine and the hands that take care of it .”
